Chevron is the largest oil producer in Indonesia, with an average daily production of 477,000 barrels of total liquids in 2010. The average daily production of total natural gas 611 million cubic feet.
We operate in partnership with Indonesia's Executive Board for Upstream Oil and Gas Business Activities (BP Migas) through production sharing contract (PSC).
Chevron also has operated interests in five Indonesian PSC offshore area of about 2.8 million hectares (11 100 square km). There are four PSC offshore East Kalimantan region in the Kutai Basin, including operated interests in East Kalimantan (92.5 percent), the Makassar Strait (90 percent), Rapak (80 percent) and Ganal (80 percent). PSC fifth is 100 percent owned interest in the East Ambalat, in the Tarakan Basin, offshore northeast Borneo. In December 2010, the company releases its stake in the East Ambalat, awaiting government approval, anticipated in late 2011.
With approval from the Indonesian government, working for the interests of each of the two Chevron's onshore exploration blocks in the western part of Papua West Papua I and West Papua III-reduced to 51 percent in June 2010.

Summary of Job / Qualification :
- Minimal S1 degree (S2/Master degree will be an advantage)
- Education Discipline : Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
- GPA min. : 2.75
- Technical Proficiency related to education background and current/previous experiences:
* Capable in materials and energy balances calculation.
* Familiar with process equipment design (piping, pump, vessel, tank, heat exchangers, etc.).
* Experienced and fluent with process simulation and tools (Hysys and Pipephase).
* Familiar with the engineering design related ASME, API, and ANSI codes and standards.
* Has experience and understand in project management.

- Strong communications skills – orally and writing including presentation skills
- Computer literacy (Office applications)

Summary of Job / Qualification :
- Bachelor degree in engineering (petroleum, civil, mechanical, etc). Master's degree will be an advantage
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Cost Control. Have experience in cost estimates, forecasts, financial/budget control, and identifying cost exposures and overrun risk
- At least 4 years of experience in Oil and gas Industry. Exposure to project activities is an advantage
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, wrtiten and oral, both in Bahasa Indonesia and English
- Good team work skills and have the ability to work in multicultural and diverse organization

Summary of Job / Qualification :
- Strong technical skill and knowledge in petroleum geology, stratigraphy and structural geology, subsurface mapping and familiar with G&G application softwares (GOCAD/Petrel)
- Good Communication Skill in English and Bahasa Indonesia (Verbal & Written)
- Computer & Database Application Skill
